Hailed by The New Yorker for the “expressive intensity” of its interpretations, early music vocal ensemble Blue Heron will perform Ockeghem’s Requiem, a piece celebrated for its solemn beauty, virtuosity, and expressiveness, in this twelfth concert of their Ockeghem@600 initiative. This project, which will see the performance of the complete repertoire of Johannes Ockeghem over several years, has made Blue Heron expert performers of his works.
