Inspired by the recently rediscovered Carlo G Manuscript–a treasure trove of highly ornamented early Baroque solos and duets–Filigree takes you on a journey through the Italian Baroque, infusing works by Monteverdi, Frescobaldi, and Strozzi with improvised ornamentation and stylistic fervor.
